It sounds so natural, but I've just noticed that, perhaps, not for everybody ;)

a[0] is *very* first! Except if a is a pointer to beyond an array beginning. :)

Once I catched myself on "How many series were in that movie? 16 or 17? No, it couldn't be 17! 17 is not optimal. Optimal are 2, 4, 8..."
