StackOverflow - morfizm

Mar. 10th, 2011 04:13 pm StackOverflow

StackOverflow is becoming better and better "random tech Q&A" source. I mean, of course, there's a degree of junk, but this degree is getting lesser comparing to Experts-Exchange and other lower end knowledge bases, and the system is also becoming bigger. More and more frequently when I search for relatively simple reference info or a WTF question, search engine gives me a good StackOverflow page. I am thinking maybe I should register there.

What's rating 100 - is it answering 100 questions?

nah much faster than this, you can get multiple points for one answer (and I think you can get points for questions as well)

Great site. But it is addictive (answering questions, I mean). I feel that wasted too much time there :) I've quit the addiction about a year ago.

On the other hand, I learned a lot there. For example, someone (Norman Ramsey) recommended me a brilliant book on C programming (http://www.amazon.com/Interfaces-Implementations-Techniques-Creating-Reusable/dp/0201498413/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1299834034&sr=8-1).
