Productivity cycle

A-B: with good sleep productivity improves, so does total work done.

B: productivity reached its plateau, hence, to keep up increasing work done, you need to sleep less.

C: after a delay, sleep deprivation starts affecting productivity; as productivity decreases, sleep should decrease in non-linear fashion - which affects productivity again, so it decreases in non-linear fashion too - in order to keep good linear growth of total work done per day.
